2
O LORD, You will favor Your land,
restore Jacob’s fortune;
2
LORD, Thou hast been favourable unto Thy land, Thou hast turned the captivity of Jacob.
O Lord, You have appeased Your land, etc. If You have returned the captivity of Jacob and forgiven their iniquity, and have concealed their sin and withdrawn Your wrath from them and retreated from Your fierce anger, then You have appeased Your land, and Your world will be appeased. But as long as You do not do this, Your land and Your world will not be appeased.
3
You will forgive Your people’s iniquity,
pardon all their sins; selah
3
Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of Thy people, Thou hast pardoned all their sin. Selah .
4
You will withdraw all Your anger,
turn away from Your rage.
4
Thou hast withdrawn all Thy wrath; Thou hast turned from the fierceness of Thine anger.
5
Turn again, O God, our helper,
revoke Your displeasure with us.
5
Restore us, O God of our salvation, And cause Thine indignation toward us to cease.
Return us You return and bring us back.
6
Will You be angry with us forever,
prolong Your wrath for all generations?
6
Wilt Thou be angry with us for ever? Wilt Thou draw out Thine anger to all generations?
7
Surely You will revive us again,
so that Your people may rejoice in You.
7
Wilt Thou not quicken us again, That Thy people may rejoice in Thee?
Will You not ultimately return and revive us, for [so] You promised us through Your prophet.
8
Show us, O LORD, Your faithfulness;
grant us Your deliverance.
8
Show us Thy mercy, O LORD, And grant us Thy salvation.

9
Let me hear what God, the LORD, will speak;
He will promise well-being to His people, His faithful ones;
may they not turn to folly.
9
I will hear what God the LORD will speak; For He will speak peace unto His people, and to His saints; But let them not turn back to folly.

13
The LORD also bestows His bounty;
our land yields its produce.
13
Yea, the LORD will give that which is good; And our land shall yield her produce.
